Looks like a yellow to me but I am not the expert! You will soon get some more knowledgeable help. He is adorable.

@ZEROPILOT and @Yvonne G I'm not questioning you at all. You know much more than I do. Can you say why it's a redfoot and not a yellowfoot? I want to learn. Thanks in advance.
From what I understand Redfoots have a Prefrontal scale on the nose like this one appears to. Yellowfoots don't have this. The two scales on the top of the nose would run parallel all the way to the tip if it was a yellowfoot. Like this oneChelonoidis-denticulata7.jpg

Yep. Split nose scute.
And the scutes on a Yellowfoots shell are often jagged on the edges like a leaf.
(To me, anyways. That's what I think of)
That's how I recognize one from a distance.
Some Redfoot ARE yellow. Some Yellowfoot are orange.
You can't tell by the color.

Here
The 3 characteristics I notice most prominently in yellowfoots are: 1) The split pre-frontal scales as mentioned earlier. 2) The small projections on the leading edge of the carapace just above the head, most visible in hatchlings/juveniles (in fact, the species name of "denticulata" is from the word denticulate which means: "having small teeth or toothlike projections; finely toothed." 3) YF carapace aereolas typically have larger yellow splotches than RF - not always, but usually - and especially in hatchling/juvi specimens. Leg coloring can be all over the place...
