Hello everyone!

I'm very happy to become a member of this wonderful community!
Right now I have a rabbit, a green tree frog, a corn snake, and a leopard gecko. No tortoises yet, but I'm looking to get a leopard tortoise sometime, and I'm sure I'll have lots of questions.

Hello and welcome. You are doing it the right way. Get all the info and get your enclosure setup before getting your tort. This is coming from a guy that did it the other way. I went by what the pet store said and it was 3 months before finding this forum. So I had everything wrong and was headed to raising a unhealthy sulcata or worse. Not to mention the money I wasted.
Good luck!

Hello and welcome. The most important thing will be to get a tortoise from the right source. Most people start them far too dry with disastrous results that don't catch up to the tortoise for weeks or months.
