Hello everyone! My name is Ty and Im a college student in Colorado with tons of reptile experience with lizards, snakes, toads and frogs, but no tortoise experience. I got little Yerba the Sulcata about 2 months ago, and I have fallen in love with her. Im fully aware of the size she will grow to, and have planned my future around that. She has an awesome tub set up right now with a live sprout garden in it, but he only issue with her is that she is REALLY picky. She wont eat the mazuri pellets, wont eat the zoo med grassland food, or most vegtables. She loves romaine lettuce, acorn squash, cucumber, and sometimes kale. She sometimes will nibble on her sprout garden (kale, lettuce, wheat grass and mustard green sprouts), but thats it. She wont touch any other veggie or the pellets, so I do dust her food with calcum supplement with D3. Do you think that this is enough variety and nutrition for her? Anybody have some neat tips and tricks to get their tortoise babies to not be so picky?
Thanks!
