I plan on making a bit of a “ mud wallow” pond for my CupCake this spring. She seems to just love sitting in the water - esp if it’s a rain puddle & digging down in. I like the idea of allowing the pond area to drain daily , so you don’t end up with stagnant water & a breeding pit for mosquitoes.

Love seeing your monsters enjoying their pond. :)

~ Yes, exactly...we have found this is very clean. One thing we do on a regular basis is let it stay empty for a few days and the the natural sun just do it's thing.

~ You may also find that she prefers to drink from this source of water and not others.

Hope everyone down in Florida had a wonderful holiday, @ALDABRAMAN! Glad to see the torts got some melon treats for the holidays. :p I'm very jealous of your blue skies. I put one of your photos on my work computer background to get me through the rest of this quiet week when the majority of my coworkers are out. Hope you're all healthy and happy!

Love the muddy faces! They look so happy! Thank you for sharing your amazing pictures and videos! Every time I watch them take a step I'm in awe because they are JUST SO AMAZING TO WATCH! They are literally dinosaurs!
