What is this Turtle? ID please!

Hey guys, take a look at this little darling and let me have your ID. I will see if my opinion matches yours!


I can't upload another shot for some reason, but he has three parallel light colored stripes along his carapace from behind his head going back to his tail. And his plastron is hinged like a box turtle....but.

Is it some sort of Terrapin?
That beak looks like it's all business!

I think it is certainly a mud turtle too. Anyway it's so adorable!

I think it's this turtle: Kinostemon chimalhuaca. From Colima and Jalisco in Mexico. Mexican mud turtle. They are at the zoo here in Jamaica, where my son works. Two of them were confiscated from someone who had apparently brought them in illegally and they were homed at the zoo.
