So the few nights it gets cold here in South Florida I have had to bring my redfoot in. I have tried soaking him tho make him poop, and it will not work. I'm hating cleaning poop out of the grout and the poop trails. Has anyone tried lining the floor with puppy pads with no safety issues?

Hi! I am looking for a tortoise that needs a home. As cute as I think hatchlings are I really want to give a home to a tort that needs it. I am in southern/central Florida on the Treasure Coast. I do have a nice sized back yard, and I have areas that can be blocked off for smaller torts.

Well my plan is when he gets big enough for me to open the door and he can roam the backyard until night and than he will sleep on the back porch that will eventfully have a heat box. For now though hes in a 20 gal tank and I really feel like its to cramped.
