Oh ok

I got two from Bev and it appears by the timing that they are from the same hatch. I’d love to keep in touch and be able to compare growth in the future. I got them in June at just 3 weeks.

You only live once. I just got my two babies last June. You have to seize an opportunity when it presents itself. Good luck.

Got the new Tortoise pen finished. Now I can leave them unattended and feel ok.

Nothing out of the ordinary. Just regular interaction. The Tortoise I had came from the island and had little hands on so it wasn’t the friendliest.

Bev has an Aldabra close to the same age and I wanted to raise one or two to be as tame as possible. I got Willy at 3 years old with not much care for human interaction.

Oh yeah, I’m gonna pass the name Willy down to one of the newbies and add Agnes to the other. Looking forward to hearing what Bev names the old Willy.

After several phone calls and many text, Willy has a new home and I am starting over with two beautiful babies. A huge thanks to Greg(Aldabraman) for getting Bev and me in touch with each other and invaluable info. Can’t wait to see how Willy does with his new family. Now let’s get to raising...

The record low temps meant the end of the fescue that I fed him everyday. After some scouring of this great forum, I went with Orchard pellets that I soak in water. Thankfully after a few days he dove in and seems to enjoy it. My question is, can he not have all he can eat everyday since it’s...
