    Weird poop

I saw someone posted on the forum about their tort pooping with little seed like balls like that and they said it was undigested seeds probably from outside. It is autumn now where I live so it's very windy and substances from trees etc are flying everywhere, maybe he ate something like that...

    Weird poop

It's wet cause I just scooped it out the soak. He doesn't eat corn. I feed him Romaine lettuce once a week when I give him calcium and vitamins. He gets grass daily and he's too small for hay so I ground it up and sprinkle it on his food. Also eats mustard greens and millet grass. Occasionally...

    Hatchling Failure syndrome.

Wow guys I'm so disappointed. I couldn't get in touch with the breeder of the tortoises after my vet visit today so I got in touch with the person who gave me my boys... It's been confirmed by the vet that my baby isn't sick because of ingesting sand, infact he has no blockages and all tests...

    Sick tortoise.

Also I soak him daily and he does have his uvb light on for 12 hours a day. He only walks around and moves about when he's outside but still not eating. I've tried grass, baby food, romaine lettuce, Kale, carrots, mustard greens and turnip greens. I just hope been in natural uvb light helps him...

    Sick tortoise.

I'm just worried because I had four tortoises all from the same batch and one died from Hatchling failure syndrome. All these tortoises are from the same batch! I feel like if that's the case with this one all my efforts are in vein because the vet said there's literally nothing I can do about...

    Sick tortoise.

Hey guys so in a previous post one of my babies was vomiting because of ingested sand. Update he's completely fine now and is back to his old self. However his brother is now sick! I've isolated him because if it's an infection I don't want it spreading. Sadly there aren't any tortoise...

    Humidity in enclosures.

Hey guys I know humidity is important for tortoises as it prevents pyramidimg. However almost all enclosures I've seen look dry and their torts don't look wet but normal. Those of you who do have humidity in your enclosure could you please send me pictures as to how your setup looks and any...

    Can my tortoise eat these?

Hey guys so whenever I put my tortoise out in natural light he tends to want to eat these two plants. Please let me know if it's safe for him as I've read some fern may be poisonous and I'm not sure if the other plant is a dandelion. Thank you.

    Vomiting tortoise.

Thank you guys for all the advice. My baby stopped vomiting and is back to his old self now. When I feed them alfafa hay I cut it into small pieces. Also started soaking him daily. I changed the uvb light to a uvb 10 and got ceramic heating bulbs

    Vomiting tortoise.

I removed the sand immediately after he vomited and put him to soak in warm water. I replaced it with coco peat which is what I always used. Additionally there's leaf litter because he likes to burry himself in it and there's also bark. I was worried because he vommited a little today too...

    Vomiting tortoise.

Hey guys so my baby boy has been vomiting every day for the past two days like clockwise usually around the same time. Temps in his enclosure are as they should be and he does have a uvb light on. At the pet shop the assistant told me that desert sand was a good substrate because it's more...
