Tortoise shell growth looks strange to me, please help.

Your tortoise's shell looks fine to me, looks like normal wear and tear. Not every tortoise's carapace will look perfect. Yours looks healthy!

    Anyone know what this is?

It's found on shrubs and I was wondering if anyone recognizes what it is. The leaves are smooth and there is no discernible scent from these (like a scent from dandelions). Thanks in advance!

    Thinking of getting another tortoise

Yup, we plan on having a separate enclosure set up for the new tortoise. We've started Spike out in a 3' x 2' enclosure when he was a baby and plan on doing the same for the new one.

    Thinking of getting another tortoise

Hi everyone, We're thinking of getting another tortoise to add to our family, possibly a baby golden greek tortoise. In October 2017, we received Spike, a baby ibera greek tortoise, as our first pet together! He was bought from Tortoise Supply when he was (roughly) 2 months old, and so far...

    Giant Weeds!

Lucky tortoise! My Greek, Spike, would be jealous of the weed abundance! We are trying to grow our own in pots and boy, is it difficult. We end up going on foraging runs for Spike and collecting weeds in our neighborhood. Here is the little nugget chomping away:

Also some sort of broadleaf weed, dandelion. Also edible/good for torts.

Anyone can recognize what are these weeds and whether tortoise can eat it?

I don't know what tortoise you have, but I think most tortoises' diets include broadleaf weeds like what you have in the 3rd and 4th photos. They are good for tort health; it's food they would find in the wild. My greek is growing up on weeds and he seems quite healthy:

    Mallow?

That's a good amount of mallow. My Greek would be jealous.

3rd one looks like catsear or hawkbit, edible. 4th one looks like dandelion, also edible. My Greek loves these.

    Plant ID

1st one looks like horseweed, which is known for its fuzzy leaves. Should not be fed to torts.

My tortoise gained 10g of weight in 1 month?

The weight gain seems normal also. My greek tortoise gained an average of 7-10 grams each month from when he was 6 months old. His weight gain changed drastically when he reached 12 months old, jumping from 14 gram gain to 31 gram gain. He's now 242 grams at 19 months old.
