    Please help- possible fungus?

Up until 2 weeks ago he was on the tortoise terrain from pets at home that you told me to switch out. He's now on orchid bark. Basking temp is 32°C. Warm side is 30°C and cool side is around 26°C. The night temp rarely falls under 20°C. His food plate is slate (which i recently just got). For...

    Please help- possible fungus?

Hi everyone, I just wanted to ask if you have ever had these markings on your tortoise before. Mines a growing Russian and has got cream like spots on his shell, however it's mainly around the growth ring. I know he does not have shell rot as his plastron is looking well. Many thanks xx

    Is this Pyrimading bad?

Thank you for clarifying that. I think I'm good in all areas and my house never drops below 18°C at night. I did have another question though. I see many basking bulbs not run through a thermostat e.g. On/off thermostat. Do you not have to have one of these once you use a thermometer and...

    Is this Pyrimading bad?

Don't worry, he has a light and a spare basking bulb. Xx I do bring him outside if it is warm enough too. Under his heat lamp it is 33°C so..98F.. i think (i dont work with Fahrenheit). He excretes well and often so i know he's warm enough.

    Is this Pyrimading bad?

Thank you for your reply. Before i had him (and the first year i had him), his enclosure was really dry. I wasn't aware that they needed, or liked humidity. I am now keeping him in a enclosure which is nice and humid, with a humid hide. I soak him every other day. I do have a MVB but i switched...

    Is this Pyrimading bad?

Hi there, It was pointed out to me last week that my tortoise has some pyrimading going on. I just wanted to ask if the pyrimading looks bad? P.s one of the pictures (with the soil) was an older picture i took before changing his substrate to orchid bark. Xx

Cool Down Vivarium in Hot Weather?

Thank you for your reply?. I actually looked around and found this website. I think they deliver to my address but I'm glad to see someone using their enclosures. It gives me reassurance that these are good vivs. Thank you. I hope everything goes well with your Tort. Xx

    Darker patches on Russian tortoise?

Thank you for reply. I won't let him skip meals. I think i was worried because i read somewhere that you want to aim for 2-3g of weight gain per week so i thought i was overfeeding him. When he finishes his food i do give him more throughout the day and buy time he has gone to sleep, there is...
