Do i Get it cut to cover the whole top or just half since I'll have the fixture sitting on it

One of them was just slightly soft on the bottom. The other had more give on the bottom and sides. It might just be the normal amount. They are 6 months old and about 2.5 inches. I don't know what's wrong with the peeling. I'll try and take a better picture. So how do I keep up the humidity...

How hot can it get under the basking spot

That's actually where i moved it to earlier when you said it wasn't close enough. It's 128F directly under it.

The light is maybe 18in. From the floor of the enclosure. It didn't say anywhere on or in the box how high it should be.

How much calcium do you put in the water?

I'm using a tortoise palace. They weren't using the hide so i took the top off, blocked it and put the sicker one in there.

I don't know if they were under a coil style bulb. This is what I'm using now

I have one of those temperature gun things but it's hard to find the exact temperature and I'm not sure exactly where to position my lights.
