Tortoises roam miles a day in the wild but obviously we can't recreate that in our care but u should always give ur tort all the space u can give her.

I had no problems keeping two males together in the same tank.
problems began when I put a female in with my two males they started fighting over her.
Male and female can work but I wouldn't do it the male will harass the female constantly for breeding
