I have open top but I'm strongly considering switching to a closed enclosure (no doors though, just a high litter damn in the front).

I never tire of seeing tortoises and turtles laying eggs. So much care is done in the whole process.

I found it on Kijiji for $35... steal of a deal if you ask me. The lumber cost another $30 because I had gift cards and the OSB board was scraps left over from other projects. I sunk around $80 into this.

I recently celebrated World Turtle Day in a big way by constructing this massive pond for our Red Eared Slider and Mississippi Map Turtle. Some of you may might remember pictures of my old pond (which was still nice) but putting the minimum for just one turtle. It was around 50 gallons...
