Hm, I'm sorry that's strange. For me if shows three different pictures, can can try to reattach. Yes it is a 100watt MVB. That dish ish actually for water and I sink it down in the substrate so there is no edge and eliminate tipping. The food is in the corner to the side of the light. I can...
Here is the new set up. I will move my little guy in tomorrow after his morning soak :) eventually when I move him into the large tortoise table I will use the tub I be light and add some living plants that he can graze on :)
I don't want to get too ahead of myself as it has only been today. Maybe the carrots? I have an awesome hero vet I can consult if it continues to be an issue, but I wanted to get some opinions before I contact her.
Is there something wrong with the diet I described above? As for health he is eating regularly, very active, and sleeps in his humid hide at night. Temps and humidity levels are all monitored and appropriate.
As I mentioned I have only had him a week and got him from a reliable reptile keeper...
Just checking, after reading a few posts on the forum I think it is normal, but my baby Hermann's Tortoise has a very runny stool today. I just got him a week ago so he could just be adjusting to a new diet, but I wanted to ask.
I have been feeding him a mixture of dandelion greens and endive...

Thank you!

Thank you, pictures are very helpful! I don't usually see many pictures of enclosures with a lid on, but given I live up North and winter is coming I want to make sure I'm keeping his home warm enough. I have already purchased a larger bin that I will be transferring him to today. :)
I have thought of this but was worried my tort wouldn't get enough air with the top being on. I was thinking of drilling holes along the top sides of the Rubbermaid tote. Would this be appropriate? I want him to have more room I just want to make sure he's getting enough air as well.
I have a larger bin 2.5 times the size of where he is now, but I'm afraid I won't be able to heat it properly. Does anyone have any thoughts or opinions on this?
Thank You So much for all of this great info! I'll attach a picture of my new enclosure. With this little guy I use the "forest floor" cypress mulch. I use a battery powered device to measure temperature and humidity. I also have a point and shoot thermometer to double check temps.
