Hi everyone I know I haven't been on here in a while...last trimester of nursing school is a bit crazy. Anyways, I noticed what I think is shell rot on my baby. Its soft and you can almost kinda scrap it off. Tell me what ya'll think I should do. I have no clue how he got this. I thought it was...

Mine got discolored from her greens. It started to come off once she started to drink on her own. I really would not worry about it. I think you would do more harm than good by getting it off. You want to earn their trust first.

My baby had the stain around his mouth but it went away on its own. I would not worry about it. They are suppose to be dirty. The stain on his front legs and back legs have not went away though. O well hes still cute:P

My Petsmart had one that had to be about 8'' and ofcourse he was in a 10 gal tank. His shell looked pretty smooth. They did not have a dish for him to soak in so Im calling the number they gave me to call to tell them. He is also $69. I wish I had the money to get him. :(
