I have always loved animals, and shared this with my father. When growing up he would bring home injured animals, we would fix them up and let them go again. We adopted and took in abandoned pets until we could find them great homes that we knew we could trust to care for them. We had many animals over years that we cared for from frog, turtles, and birds, to racoons, and even a vulture with a broken wing. Now as a 24 year old mother of 3 I have brought this love of animals into our everyday lives. My Children are much like I was when I was young and love to take care of all sorts of animals. They often times bring bugs in the house, and put them in the observation tank just to watch them for a few hours and let them go again. We currently have 2 american bulldogs, 2 cats 1 of which I bottle fed from 2 days old my senior year of highschool. (She was the only one out of 3 that made it), a bird we got for free from a very neglectful previous owner..who is now a very big attraction in our house to all of our friends and people walking by our house on nice days. We are now in the middle of getting our enclosures ready for our 2 new members of our family, 2 redfoot tortoises. We will be moving to a farm across the road from my parents and my sister and running almost 100% sustainable farms between the 2 families, where all of our animals and my children will have lots of room to run around and play.
