Hey guys I have a Northern Red Bellied turtle and I read on eHow.com that you should put gravel high up on one side and then put a flat rock there for a basking area. Can I use a turtle dock instead of that? Thanks guys.

Hey guys I had a quick question. My russian stays under the heat lamp all day! It isn't even cold and he still stays there except to go eat. He even stays in the same place when I turn off the lamp at night. Is this normal? What can I do to make him more active?

RE: Russain and Box Turtle Thanks! Also, I've seen Big Apple Pet Products and Zoomed sell this kind of tortoise table (I built my own). Can I buy that and put a box turtle in there?

Hey guys I have a 50 gallon tank with about 10-12 fish. I really want an African Sideneck Turtle. Do you think the turtles and fish can live together without the turtle killing any of the fish? If so, what do I need to care for the turtle?

Hey guys I've been wanting an ornate box turtle for pretty much all my life. I looked and I couldn't find one so I got a Russian tortoise. I was at the pet store in a different city. I saw my male russian today and I saw that his skin was peeling around his neck/head area. Any idea what it is? Is it normal? Thanks

Is there any way I can get tortoise without building another habitat?
