i have it roughly 20 in away from the substrait. if i move it much further he will not be getting enough heat[hr]
he does not roam much. its about 50 50 he hides sometimes and is out in the open. i soak him every day for an hour per my vet.

ok... i will do only spring mix, the only reason i do the apple, pear, peach, tomato fruit stuff is because it says in the food and diet section they are to get 10%, i have been moistening every day. thank you for all the input,i do apreciate it
