Sounds like you caught a couple wild turtles, please put them back into the wild, they are their for all of us to enjoy

First, that is a tortoise not a turtle, and yes he will be able to climb out of that enclosure resulting in a broken or cracked shell, he needs an enclosure at least 20 inches high, temp in the enclosure should be consistant
