Underbite starting? And who eats rocks?!

Thanks for the input, Sarah:) Here's two shots of her like 30 min. ago... beak out again. It seems to be going in and out, and when it's in underbite mode, she just looks uncomfortable.

Underbite starting? And who eats rocks?!

Wow, that's a lotta food all together! Thanks for the images, Pearly (and Yvonne G:). I never feed more than 4 or so foods at a time (and mostly it's green leaf varieties) - that let's me keep a schedule of like 3 days/week greens+fruit, 2 days veg+greens, one day just greens. Do you always just...

Underbite starting? And who eats rocks?!

Hi All, my young rf , Ember - 15 months old, seems to be developing an underbite? I've noticed the last couple days her upper beak is catching or getting folded under her lower beak. This has never been a problem before. I got her at 1 month old, and her growth has always been fantastic, no...

New lamp issue - Won't stay on?

I'm about to get the same bulb (100w power sun) and was going to use it in my zoomed 8.5" dome w/ ceramic socket. You guys are all suggesting a 10". Think the zoomed 8.5" will be ok? Thanks:)

    My poor little hatchling

I'm so glad you turned it around with Tuck-tac, Pearly! Go you!! Ah the diet thing - I was smearing everything with banana, feeding him in direct sunlight to try and increase appetite, and in the last few days (when he actually stopped eating altogether) doing carrot soaks. It's been a few weeks...

    Advice for Redfoot enclosure

Hi hello all, I need help on re-doing my outdoor enclosure. It's for a red foot, who is um... currently still at large. I built it before I came across this forum and all the pics of your awesome enclosures - yeah at the time I thought it was escape-proof. Obviously not. Here's our backyard...

    The Saga of Scratchy

Oh and Chris is on the job:) He was the first person I contacted, especially since I knew he had a soft spot for torts. We've gone into his yard and looked, nothing yet. But I'm still hopeful since in four months, there wasn't that much ground covered last time. At least none of my neighbors...

    The Saga of Scratchy

Ahh! Ok, Wellington, thank you for the advice! Seriously, my enclosure was obviously NOT so great as I thought. So are you saying rough sided rock is bad? And how high should the sides be? It's between 7-8" at the lowest places now.
