Hey everyone!

My name is Meaghan and I recently acquired a hatchling Hermann's Tortoise named Zippy. I have always had a passion for reptiles and am excited to incorporate my tortoise into my family and my student's curriculum. Zippy, named by my students, lives with me and visits the classroom on occasion to help with lessons and teach the students about animal husbandry. This forum was extremely helpful in answering questions and concerns I had when deciding which type of tortoise would be the best fit for me. I am so excited to now be a member of this forum.
