Hi! I'm Mary, and I'm fairly new to the tortoise world! I'm just getting started with my first lifelong friend, who I've named Trouble for his cantankerous personality. He is a Russion Tortoise, not yet fully grown. They said he'd be fully adult in about three years.
I'd love any advice from experienced torti owners, especially if you have a Russian. I have done a lot of research on them and I'm trying to take the very best care of my new buddy, as I want him to be with the the rest of my life. I've been told that he could live up to fifty or sixty years easily if he's well taken care of, and I intend to do just that.
