    If you have only had him a day I really wouldn't worry too much, he will be scared and worried, just leave him to settle but one of the more experienced forum members will be along to help soon :) good luck with your new tort! Get some photos up! :)

    He has a really nice habitat now but he's only four and has never been hibernated by me or his previous keepers, he done this around about April this year and processed to mate with everything, I'm always worried about him in the winter as I wouldn't like to hibernate him for the sole reason...

    Toby's five next March, born in captivity, strange to think about a wild caught one, in the UK it's illegal to import them without a licence so there pretty much all captive. A baby sulcata you say! How adorable!! And thanks about his enclosure, not finished yet still need to add a few more...
