Hi All,
Thought I would post a quick Aristotle update and share his valentines photoshoot haha!
He's still a grumpy little lad but he's eating well and growing well. His rain system is still working beautifully and he seems to enjoy his simulated forest!
Here he is enjoying a sneaky...
Thought I'd share an image of Myrtle- she is my light skinned tiger (although she may darken up as she grows). She has grown fairly quickly for a tiger snail. I'll post pictures of her again in a few months to show the difference.
And the larger snail, is currently the biggest of my lot. This...
I'm fascinated by them!
My retics grow very quickly but my tiger snails are much slower growing. I took on an albino tiger and her shell condition was awful from poor diet and not having her humidity and temperature controlled. But I'm pleased to say with the correct care I've managed to get...

Aristotle is doing well and growing beautifully. I tried him on mealworms a while back and he had one and was then not interested in taking them. Even when hidden in his food he...
Hi all,
I got my little Aristotle back in August and we think he is approximately 6 months old. We have now come across some hatchlings not much younger than him. My love of RF's just grows everyday and I'd love to have more than one but have a few questions:
1) Is it the right time to make...
Looking good!
You can set up a system where your heat lamps turn off if an optimum temp is reached and click back on again if they need to heat again. You'll need a thermostat to monitor this. I have a temperature gradient across my enclosure too which is advised. I also have 3 different...
