Now that I know this is an organ, I was told as hatchlings this was a female. While soaking the other day I saw "her" head lowered in the water, her rear up in the air, and a little something poking out from "her" under shell. Thoughts?
Here are my three EBT's & my little Three toed. the little one is in his/her own enclosure. Just having some explore time with the bigs. This is also a comparison of my EBT from hatchling to now 2yrs old.
The two very yellow ones are over a year old. They were one in July. The smaller, darker one was one in September and the baby three toed was born in August. I got all of them except for the baby from a seller on this website. :) any other questions, just ask. Thank you everyone!
Not a new batch. Just super weird. I was thinking maybe they are adjusting to the water temperatures. I put them in warm water to soak lately because the temperatures vary here from day to day. It has been cooler than normal
I know it's hibernating time, but I live in south Florida and I don't want/didn't hibernate my turtles this or last year. They are a little over one. When I pull them up to soak and feed they have been acting completely normal then after a few bites kind of freeze up. It's really weird and...
