    Leopard Tortoise Size

I can’t for sure tell you but I have heard that it takes anywhere from 12-15 years for a leopard tortoise to reach its full size. Your tortoises does look a little small but I would possibly find a vet if you are concerned about his growth. He is a cutie though :)

Just some pics of my little dudes

They are definitely not housed together. They are around 2 now and their enclosure is 3 feet wide and 8 feet long. I plan to get an outdoor enclosure going for them soon 👍

    New setup

Finally got around to getting my torts a new set up. I wanted something that they had plenty of places for them to explore and hide. My other tortoise got a similar set up in his tank.

    Leopard Tortoise Enclosure Enrichment

Hello, I have 2 leopard tortoises in their own separate enclosures but I feel like their homes are lacking enrichment in terms of the fact that they tend to chill in their favorite pots and only really are active during the morning and mildly in the afternoon. I just wanted to create more...

    Babcocki vs pardalis?

Thank you! I had tanks custom built for them and at this point they are still pretty small but I do agree. I plan to start an outdoor enclosure for both of them soon. Tbh I have kinda baby hands so they are a bit smaller than it appears 😊

    Babcocki vs pardalis?

Hello, I have two leopard tortoises a little younger than 3 years old. I bought both of them at the same time and was told they were both Babcocki but I’m starting to have some doubts. I believe one of them could possible be a hybrid while the other is definitely a Babcocki. I recently...

Female? Male? I’m thinking 1 female and 1 male.

I was kinda thinking that may be possible but the second tortoise with the smaller tail also has no concave to the bottom of its shell- its very flat.

Female? Male? I’m thinking 1 female and 1 male.

Hello! My leopard tortoises are around 3 years old and over 6 inches now. I was curious if I’m correct in my assumptions of having one male and one female. They are in completely separate tanks btw.

    My babies

They are houses separate. They both have 8 foot indoor enclosures and they are kept at 80 percent humidity at all times. These pictures are on the cooler side of their tank with lower humidity around the high 60s-70s. I’m addition, they are soaked everyday. They are fed well too, I think they...

New enclosure = Happy tortoises :)

Very happy to have finished these enclosures for my 2 leopard babies. They are around 2 years old and it was time to get them their own separate spaces. These tanks took around a year to plan and build.

Thank you! I actually have some rocks in their current enclosure and they love pushing them around.
