Pearly, that's exactly how my Ruby looks!! It's confirmed my suspicions that she has marbling. Wow, I'm chuffed to bits. Love her so much and the marbling is a bonus..... :):<3::<3::tort::tort::<3::<3::) P.S I'm not clever enough to post photos or I would proudly show all my torties off!

I've got a baby cherryhead redfoot and I wonder if you can tell me the what colour her new shell growth should be. Somebody who saw a photo on a facebook reptile forum seemed to think she's a marbled species. If you could post some photos so I can compare I'd be very grateful. Thanks :)

I've got a little Indian Star, hatched in September this year. I'm chuffed to bits with him and he is doing all the things I would expect. The caresheet from the breeder doesn't give any indication on bathing him. All my Hermanns and my Cherryhead Redfoot seem to thoroughly enjoy a daily bath...

We used to have cats and I loved them very much. I'd love another but it wouldn't be fair because my parrot is out a lot. The dogs take no notice of her but I couldn't expect a cat to leave her alone!

What a beautiful tortoise! I want to add myself to the list of those thoroughly appalled by the treatment this little treasure suffered before you rescued him/her. I use a soil/children's playsand 50/50 mix for my Mediterranean torties and it works very well. I keep it moist, but not soaking...
