I soak him at least 30 minutes a day, humidity is at 75% that's the highest I can keep it, every other resource says it's normal. I dont mean to be rude but I dont appreciate being told I'm doing it wrong when all I'm doing is following the advice all of you have given me.

I noticed the skin only sulcatas neck is coming off, is this normal? I've never heard of tortoises sheading?

my sulcata needs a humid hide so i thought wood wouldnt be a bad idea, ill bake it for about an hour and see how it comes out. if that doesnt work ill start looking into pots

I was doing my weekly spot clean of my torts tank and found mold growing on the inside of his hide. Is this something i can just clean off and it will be fine? Keeping a high humidity while keeping mold out seems impossible.

Very morbid I know but I've realized my baby tortoise will most likely outlive me, and it makes me wonder... will he miss me?

Im not sure if its regular behavior or not but my baby sulcata keeps scratching his face and eyes with his front legs, i have coco coir as substrate and his main diet is clovers and other non chemically treated weeds. tank temp and humidity are 75 Fahrenheit and 70% at night and 90 Fahrenheit...

I add calcium powder to his weeds in his tank, what is cuttle bone? should i get some?

I like to take my baby sulcata tortoise outside so he can eat fresh clovers but whenever he sees bird poo he tries to eat it! I'm not sure if this is super healthy for him?
