Back again. I’m sure laying eggs this time. How long to hatch?

I prefer RHP’s. I have 3 animal plastic cages that I keep in the basement stacked on top of one another. The lowest cage has trouble maintaining temps in the winter. I should have went with bigger panels. I can’t remember the brand but I use temp controllers that can handle 2 different enclosures.

Have you tried mazuri? I know babcocki can be more shy and take some time to adjust. My pardalis will eat anything.

Yeah well that’s kind of the mentality I have. Tons of these torts prob have poor lives and they’re so readily available I’m sure it’s the case with many of them.

I agree with the more government concept. But stepping back and not looking at it from a breeders perspective I do see it an issue

I’m just wondering what happens to the large number of sulcata being sold. I’m sure most people don’t know what they are getting into and wonder how many and given away or god forbid let loose. I’m sure a lot of them die in captivity long before adulthood.

That’s what I figured. But she ran away into the woods not long after. Not unless she already buried them.

My PP is in an enclosed chamber and I try to keep humidity70-80% but he still has a touch of pyramiding.

Have to say he’s turning into my favorite tort even though he was free. Always happy to see me and runs to the front of the cage doing his weird little heavy breathing thing.

I have an about 10” sulcata I’m considering giving away. I just want to make sure he has the proper environment /enclosure. As you may know they get quite big. I was hoping to send him some where down south to live out his days.
