    Philippine weeds???

Thank you Ma'am Yvonne! The outdoor enclosure of my sulcata has grass so it's no worry. However, besides the grass, variety of weeds native here co-habit his yard. I'm thinking of removing those weeds, but then again I think maybe they would be beneficial. Variation is good I've learned, so I'm...

    Philippine weeds???

Do you know what weeds, plants, flowers and vegetables common in the Philippines that are safe to feed my Sulcata? I know only gumamela (hibiscus), nappa cabbage, kangkong. I've been feeding him with those but I want variation as I'm aware that it is good for them. But the list I found on...

    Hide box humidity?

Does it have to be hot in the humid box? By the way, I'm in the tropics. Is it bad for the humid box to be damp without a warm spot light on it?

    Hide box humidity?

Yesterday, I made a humid hide box: a plastic container with an opening, with a bed of damp coco coir and damp sphagnum moss. But I'm afraid my sulcata's not fond of it. He doesn't want to stay inside. He better sleep in the open corner of his enclosure. Why is that? Any idea?

    More Caresheets like this

I agree also. Animal (all; not only large one) Care sheet authors should make the article more like a checklist-and-requirements. Thrills and excitement about a pet should not be the only information but the precautions, challenges and the reality the owner-to-be will be facing as well. So that...

    Sulcata variety

I guess you're aware of the ivory sulcata. is it a rarity? i would love to have one.they're also a beauty. and they're the only white and the lightest colored tortoise (at least as i know by now) i think a variation of colors in a collection would be ..."colorful" :D i don't know if it is...

    Tortoise peeing ?

Is it normal for the pee color to be orange? My sulcata peed orange for three days and then back to normal

    Pothos plant edible???

It is an ornamental decor here so I'm guessing it is more likely to be toxic. This is a photo of pothos plant: I have some in my pacman and taratulas terrarium, which makes the enclosure looks more nature. I'm thinking should I decor my tortoise enclosure with pothos, too if it is safe to...

Five People You Meet In Heaven

Well Ma'am Yvonne, if it is the one starring Angelina Jolie's dad, Jon Voight, yes it is the adaptation of Mitch Albom's novel.

    Pothos plant edible???

Is pothos plant safe for a sulcata? I've seen somewhere here in the forum a photo of an enclosure (vivarium type) of sulcata in a thread(sorry i don't remember where) where there is a pothos plant. it is a decorative plant for mostly hanging pots.
