    Thank you for the advice!!!! I will be sure to ditch the soil and get the coco. Dex lives the grassland good. I also give him rose leaves, cactus pad, clover, and put him out in the yard to munch (when it’s warm).

    Could it be from before we got him as a hatchling? Since we've had him he soaks himself several times a day, sometimes he sits in his water for hours. I soak his pellets to expand them and to make sure he is ingesting water, also since we have made his new enclosure we spray down it down every day.

    Thank you so much for this link! There is a lot of helpful info there. To maintain temp at night we just purchased a red heat lamp. The enclosure ranges temp from 75-90 (directly under the lamp).
