Crazybirds

My name is Dannielle and my husband and I are huge animal lovers. We have quite a zoo here and we love it. Our animals are our children! Most of our Parrots were donated to us because in our little area we are known as the Bird People. Animals no matter how small are not Throw Away Pets! One of my pet peeves is when people purchase animals they do no research on what they are getting into or to find out how to properly care for their pet. When I was little my mother taught me about animals and how to care and respect them. So when I go into a pet store and a clerk is trying to sell a person a tiny hampster cage with a wheel to a person who is buying a large guinea pig...I step in. It may sound stupid to some...it doesn't matter it is a living creature depending on us to care for them. I really enjoy forums like these (I belong to a few for RES, Shih Tzus, Hermit Crabs...) because you find people who are very passionate about their animals and are willing to educate and help others...it's great to know there are still some good people out there!

I hope to make some friends who are crazy over their pets like I am! Hence my Username Crazybirds! And I am up for suggestions to make better changes for my Torts. Thanks for checking me out!!
