Can you tell by behaviours too? Because the one on the right is a lot more dominant and so stubborn and the one on the left is really calm and loves being handled and where as he other one is really fast haha but they get on totally fine and have been fine together since the day I got them

Fair enough.. Well they seem happy and healthy to me , had no issues with it and they're eating, sleeping and bathing fine and are very active.. I do understand everyone's point though :-) so annoying because one person tells me to do one thing then another is telling me "no that is wrong and...

It says on the packaging that it is for tortoises so no I haven't mistaken it at all

The substrate is called tortoise terrain it is a mixture of sterilised top soil, sand and limestone grit, they seem to like it and haven't once tried to eat it :-)

My horsefield tortoises seem to be doing great, very active as soon as their lamps come on and they sleep just before their lamps go off, they eat very well and have a soak every day :-) if anyone sees anything they think is wrong with them please let me know :-)

Male or female?

Hi, I have two horsefield tortoises they are just over a year old, i don't know if you'll be able to tell by these pictures if they are male or female.

Thank you really appreciate your messages they seem fairly happy and get on really well, had them 9 months now and they sleep together, eat together and everything and are also becoming quite tame I was just unsure of things to feed them, thanks again
