I was wondering if it is a regional kind of coloration. I have both kinds and I know the reds are usually from Brazil.I'm lost on the orange headed ones though.
I've been seeing more and more of them lately, still think they look awesome but the name Cherryhead does seem a bit misleading? Thoughts on this anyone?
Looking for an adult female Cherryhead tortoise I have some other tortoise I can offer as trade I also am willing to pay cash I am located in south Florida.
Regards Chris.
The plants are hibiscus, I transplanted them from the old enclosure which is why they look rather droopy.
Thanks for all the kind words, any advice on a better water dish?
After a week or 2 of debating I finally had the time and materials to move the enclosure to a different part of my yard that does not flood whatsoever.
Right now I'm just using a ceramic planter base as a water dish would anyone have any better ideas?
I had some some cuttlebone and gave her some of that and she tore it up I made 2 mounds one in her favorite corner and 1 beside a bush. Dropped down to the high 40's last night and same tonight so she's inside for the time being.
I was debating whether or not to try to make an artificial mound I guess I'll go for it along with giving her a warm soak. I'll go ahead and remove the other torts from her pen for a couple days.
Thanks for the help everyone

Hello everyone My elderly neighbor has had his age catch up to him and can no longer care for these guys he was kind enough to hand these 3 little guys over to me. Unfortunately I am not equipped to provide for these 3 torts as they should be I'm really looking to trade for a larger tortoise sub...
I picked her up and it seems like she did do a sizable amount of digging. My enclosure is prone to some flooding but they do have a spot where I made sure they have have dry land 24/7.
The picture may be hard to tell but there's a good 4-6 inches in depth where she was. Also she returns to...
