I started mine on leafy greens and mixed in small pieces of grass. The bigger they got the more grass they would eat.

My oil heater is only 1500w and I normally have it on the middle setting amd it keeps my shed pretty toasty even on the coldest days. It just takes longer to get there but once there it seems like it has no trouble keeping the temperature.

Ethel getting a new wheel. He was attacked by a dog. I got him right after it happened when he weighed 65g. I had to give him shots for 10 days. He now weighs 75lbs at 5 years old. Fred 65lbs laying a clutch of 27 eggs.

My 2 just turned 5 last month, one weighs 75lbs the other is 65lbs. I think that keeping them "wet" has greatly improved growth rates and health.

My Sulcatas get it regularly and love to eat it. I like the LS version which has Timothy hay as its first ingredient. In the winter when they cannot head out to eat grass and weeds they get it more often.

Rose of Sharon grows around here like weeds. My guys like the white flowers the best although they eat all of them but, the are Sulcatas. The nieghorhood kids pick flowers from my front yard and throw them over my fence where my two tortoises are waiting like sharks.

I tried it in the past, was not real impressed. Plus the cost is outrageous, I can buy a 25lb bag of Mazuri for less than a couple pounds of the Marion zoological red food sticks.
