I just came from the vet yesterday, and he has me doing a dry out period of 2-3 hours daily because my girls aren't basking. So maybe you should extend the amount of time they're out of the water?

I have a similar looking condition on my red eared sliders, and am going to the vet in the morning. Definitely keep us posted, I'm curious to know if our babies have the same condition. Fingers crossed it's only mineral deposits or something like that...

That's so wonderful of y'all to have saved her! Wow, that is a BIG girl! Hopefully mine don't grow to be quite that big, but since they live such a long time, I want to make sure I do this right!
