Really I wouldn't advise too much handling. He will be much more comfortable and a lot less stressed if he can be in a warm little hiding spot or basking under a light. I know how tempting it is to hold and cuddle them (they're so darn cute!), but it's just not healthy for them.
I love this forum. I'm here every day but only post occasionally. I've learned so much and my hatchling sulcata will have survived to yearling very soon. Thanks to you all!
That reminds of when I got my first tattoo. It was on my ankle and the tattoo artist just takes my foot and puts it in his lap. I didn't mind that little bit of intimacy but I thought he was a incredibly brave considering how nervous I was. Haha!
