@ZEROPILOT
Thank you my first reaction was to try and separate them. They eventually stopped after I let them be

Yes you know your turtles mark
I have two females a Belize and a Nicaraguan ornate the male is the Mexican.
The Belize is the biggest and the most outgoing the Nicaraguan...
I noticed my two red ear sliders stuck to each other.
The female seems to be dragging the male around the enclosure.
Is this normal mating behavior or is there something wrong?
I am new to keeping water turtles
any info will be appreciated!
Thank You
Hello
I have received my new red foot grow out enclosure. However I have a couple questions.
The dimensions are 80Lx20Hx20W
The enclosure is made out of birch plywood
and the front is made out a single piece of red oak with a hand cut opening for the glass. The interior is drylok extreme...
I think this should do the trick you should be able to hold in humidity & heat. Tape over the lid and cut out what you need. Try checking with some more forum members as I have not used it for this purpose. However you can also use the tape to cover the glass so the tortoise can’t see out as well :)
I have two hatchlings at the moment about a month apart the older one bothered the younger one aggressively even though the older one is smaller size lol hope this helps this is also just my experience but I wouldn’t recommend it
