Need Advice - Housing 2 grown males together

Luckily there are NO females in the mix at all...and my enclosure is 6' X 25' I think. Plenty of hides etc. We'll see how it goes.

Need Advice - Housing 2 grown males together

I have been offered a large male that I haven't seen yet. I currently have a 12" male in an outdoor enclosure. Does anyone have experience introducing a new male into the mix? Good idea or bad idea?

    Wanting a GPP but...

One quick note. Two of us here bought G.p.p. hatchlings from Andrew at Arizona Tortoise. I for one am really happy with the $350 price which included shipping to me in Austin. This one is exceptional and totally worth it. Patrick

    Meet Buster!

Your's is nicer, let's trade! Ok maybe not :) Are you raising him/her the humid method? I'd like to be a positive test case myself and it would be cool to post our progress.

    Meet Buster!

Thanks for all the replies. I got word from ATC that he hatched the first week in August 2013, and I just weighed him in at 34g. He/She is showing some growth and it looks good so far. I for one believe in the high humidity upbringing to 6" and hope to be another example of smooth shell growth...

    Buster's new enclosure

Ah I misspoke....it's a Reptisun 2.0 UVA/UVB....not good? I live in Austin so there will be a lot of outdoors time under adult supervision :)

    Buster's new enclosure

I just got Buster, a G.p.p. hatchling (see my cute little guy in the leopard section) and made an enclosure for him according to Tom's suggestions and many others concerning pyramiding etc. so here are the pics and I welcome advice. I have a basic plastic tote, a plastic hide with a layer of...

    Meet Buster!

I'm trying this out on the iPhone app so lets see how it goes. I just got this cute little guy yesterday from Andrew at Arizona Tortoise and couldn't be happier. This is my first and only Pardalis Pardalis so I'm kind of excited. I'm going to be doing the high humidity environment and will post...

Hey I'm in Austin with one Cherry Head Redfoot.

Lots of photos of my red foot pen

I took another pic in better light and from the other side. So the green thing is a timer which I set to go off for 5 minutes about 4 times a day. Here in Austin it is crazy hot so I want to keep part of the pen wet like the forest floor. The next thing inline is a pressure regulator. They're...

    This is Hisbiscus right?

My Redfoot can't get enough of those things, and comes running for hibiscus. When the flowers close and don't reopen in the morning, I just pull them off since they're done, but the tort will gobble up the closed flowers. I pull off an open flower every once in a while to show off to visitors :)...

Thanks Kelly...yeah he does love to stomp around in the dirt.

Lots of photos of my red foot pen

I recently lost my Leopard tortoise when he ate a bunch of gravel and did not respond to anything my vet and I threw at him. He shared a partitioned space out in the garden with my red foot, but since he's gone I just opened up the whole thing for him. The red foot is a cherry head that was...

    Geochelone pardalis pardalis - WANTED

Hey folks, I'm looking for a G.p.p. and thought I would throw it to the group. I recently lost my 10 year old babcocki to an obstructed gut, so I thought that I would start over, get the bigger subspecies and also really work on raising him/her without any pyramiding. So I checked with...
