Playing in the leaves ?
Omg!!!! He looks so happy!!!
I didn’t realize he was so small??
This house is perfect for his butt!!!
I only worry about the leaves if he is gonna eat them one day when your back is turned? ??
But other wise …. Beautiful!! ?
I was SUPPOSED to build my new large Sulcata home today but once again….
I got ……?? by my husband who wasn’t around till 7:30pm. Life seems to be
“All about him” lately..?
No matter, because he probably would have done it “his way” not the way I’d have wanted it.
NOW… I can build the one Tom built on the forum “to a tee” !!!! ?
So in a weird sort of way it turned out good.
Problem is… I’m a girl and don’t have the know how to put screws in everywhere?
I also have to go buy my OWN drill.
I don’t want him involved in any way now.
I’m sooooo ?.

All I can hope for is if I can make it HALF as nice as you have made little Dozers house.
Wish me luck!
And I hope Dozer realizes that he should NEVER bite the hand THAT FEEDS!!!!! ?❤️
YOU DID SUCH A GREAT JOB, YOU SHOULD BE PROUD!!

Sorry to hear about your husband not being helpful with Sally’s new house. That really sucks. If you do it in your own, it’ll be a good learning experience and the more experienced builders on here I’m sure can give some specific advice if you need it. Dozer is about 6 1/2 inches long right now. As for the leaves on the ground in the enclosure, I’ll let you in on a secret…they were only in there for the little photoshoot and then I removed all of them. The only leaves remaining, is the vine with leaves on top of his new little house hide. He can’t get to those ones. Maybe you can convince Dozer to not bite the hand that feeds him. While you’re at it, can you also ask him to stop trying to hump the hand that feeds him too? ?

?????‍♀️…..I…..I…….?????

Dozer!!!!! Knock it off! You punk butt!!!
Don’t make me send Sally to step on your foot!! ??
I would have sent Gary but he’s soooo small I don’t want him to come back pregnant! ??
Wait a minute?!?…..
I think he just heard me say that and flipped me “the bird”!!!????
Thanks, thanks a lot.
Now I’m in the dog house with Gary..?
?????

Dozer!!!!!! No humping!!!!!!!! ?
You bad boy! ?

Lovely Tortoise landscaping. The substrate is a natural element. We have two enclosures and after 2 years, we found little white mites everywhere inside. We sprayed Zoo Med Wipe Out Terrarium & Small Animal Cage Cleaner and eliminated the substrate. We use paper towels and a hand towel to cover the tortoises at night for comfort.
