My Indian star baby tortois attacked by rat few days ago they are 3 or 4 months old doctor gave us a cream of aniwound if anyone have some advice please give me and anyone know that my tortoise legs will be re grow or not?
I guess you should take this babies to a reptile specialist. Rat bites contain poison, so I am not sure if just a cream is enough. Other thing you might need to take care is, the skin is exposed, that means it can get infected. You need to keep it clean all the time. Do not soak them under hot water as it will cause pain in their skin. Use luke warm water. Try not to keep food around them, feed them and after they are done, remove the food from their surrounding. Food will attract flies, and exposed skin is a perfect place for mosquitos and flies to lay egg. It may cause an infection. Also buy those rat traps so that this may never happen again.

Please keep us updated. If I would be you, I would keep them under uv light for 14+ hrs, so the wounds get dry fast. When cleaning them, do them gently. If they may feel pain, they may come under stress and may stop eating. Sending good hopes from here
