Really worried! (White, squiggly lines in shell)

I might be being silly but this is worrying me! My baby has some strange markings like air bubbles in shape (not textured just look like) am i doing somthing wrong? He gets Pansys, dandilions, romaine lettuce, lambs lettuce, rocket, cress, Dahlia, occasional tomato, Buddhlia, carrot, and apple.

Is it lack of calcium? he has calcium dusting 2 times a week? he goes in his run and has a soak twice a week too!

Nope hes fine. Those are referred to as Water Lines and occur quite frequently in a tort kept in a humid environment. All of my hatchlings have them because they are kept at the higher end of their humidity level. If your Russian is more than two years old you can safely reduce the humidity level in its enclosure. Then those will go away.

ohhh yay thank you! lol this is my first tortie :) so still learning i love him to pieces he comes running everytime he see's me! so cute!

Don't worry, always better to ask then to be sorry you didn't. We have all been new at one time and are always still learning:)
