So, this giant came into the shelter a couple of days ago...and is the second largest sulcata I've EVER seen...Big M still takes the cake! But this due is impressive...and if the owners don't claim him...he's mine! A few stats for you...

SCL...35"

Weight: >150lbs

Front legs measure 18" around

Head...almost the size of a brick

Gulars...9.75" from end to end

Now, feast on the photos I took of him this AM

Now...here are a couple of shots of the damage he did...wiping out six mature hibiscus bushes and two Mexican petunias...which ALL made up a five tall...ten foot long hedge!DSC_0118.JPG

and a few shots of him when I arrived at work last night!

What a nice-looking sulcata. Looking at the blue paint on his legs and gular, I can imagine the torment that blue fence has been through since his arrival. The owners would have to have a pretty sturdy fence to keep him contained. I'm of two minds - I hope his owners find him, but then I hope no one claims him so you can have him.

I'm with Yvonne on this one. Hate for someone to be heart broken because they lost him. However, would be really nice if you were able to keep him. He sure is a nice looking sully.

Gosh! He's rough and mean looking, and I bet he's old. While he looks good in some respects, he looks like he's had a tough time in other ways. I bet he's a hand full. It looks to me like he's not a happy camper right now. Damn, that's powerful...I'd like to have him too:( He looks sad, I bet he's missing his people...

It seems like all Sulcata are Godzilla, Tank, Tortzilla etc...I'm with Kelly, I like
