Hello and welcome.
You need to cover the enclosure, get humidity to 80% and temps at 80F day and night and 95-100 basking spot temp.

Hi Tom ? Nice to meet you ? And thanks for replying and your suggestion ?

I’ve bought the terrarium, substrate and lighting units before knowing this Forum and before reading Tom‘s guide to How Best to Raise Sulcata.
I’m lucky to have humid climate here, ambient at 70%. Just pour in water over substrate, i get +90% humidity and it holds for over 12 hours before falling down below 90-80%. Is enclosure cover still needed? What do you think? I want the best for my sulcata.

As for temperature, ambient is 80F in the morning and creeping up to 88F during the day.

Now, for the basking spot, the bulb that i use is Exo Terra Solar Glo, directly underneath the temp i can get to +95F but humidity down to 74%. But in the surrounding area humidity can go up +80-90% while temp go down to 90s. Is this okay?

Is the spec ok? It‘s mercury vapor all in one lamp with UVA UVB visual and infrared light for heat.

And where should i put the basking lamp? In the middle of enclosure or towards the corner to create two climate zone?

Hi Tom ?. It’s very nice to meet you ?. I’ve read your articles. Thanks for writing and they are great, the best and most complete articles I’ve read about raising sulcata baby and beyond. I’ve searched the net but none are as complete and thorough as yours, especially about hatchlings and babies. My deepest respect for you ?.

Here in Indonesia, like you said in your articles, sulcatas and other tortoises develop pyramids. They all said sulcatas are desert species and enclosure must be dry, and the feed pellets or grocery vegetables, no grass or high fibre food. It’s a very sad state of affairs.

Having read your articles, i have point of reference about what to do with my sulcata. Hopefully my sulcata will be round smooth and healthy like yours ? and enjoyable long life.

Since Im a beginner, even after reading your guide i still will have lots of questions. Hopefully you don’t mind answering ?

Cheers

Sounds like you are doing great.
If you did cover the enclosure, it would keep the humidity up longer where you wouldn't have to pour water in as often.
