I took him 5 days ago. He was very active and nice at reptile shop. But he is not moving, eating after he came in my house. So I took him local vet yesterday. The vet said he has a pneumonia and some worms. But the vet said the most problem is there are too much gas in my little boy's body. So I take some medicines for treating it. I attached some pics of his mouth. Is it normal? I'm really worried about stomatitis and herpes virus. I get rid of all substrates because of worms and just put some tissues for clean up easily every day. I soak him everyday about 20 mins. Is it okay soak him longer time? I think he is little bit dehydrated. Please help me how can I help my little boy.

Hi welcome, sorry for the challenges you are facing. If your tortoise dehydrated 40 min soak in warm shallow water in a bowl they can not walk out of is fine daily or 3 times a week. Monitor as they soak but from a distance. The water will get messy so have a second bowl ready to move over to.
Looking at your environment it is very clinical needs to be made more homely so they can dig and burrow and live a tortoise life under your care. Agree your tortoise is very dry and you have two in the enclosure! They do not need a friend and this can cause stress overtime, could you return one?
Please read care sheet and review food, water in acdish they can climb into (should be available 24 x7 changed twice a day I see none provided) , humidity, substrate, heat, light etc.....

The tortoise appears to be very close to death.

The biggest problem is the pneumonia. The tortoise needs to be treated ASAP with ceftazidime injections to cure the pneumonia. Meanwhile, if its mouth is gaping for air like that constantly, you will run the danger of the tortoise accidentally inhaling water when you try to soak it, which will either drown it or make the pneumonia even worse than it already is.

If you do try to soak that tortoise now, you will need to watch it very carefully the whole time it is soaking to make sure it doesn't inhale water into its lungs.

The OP mentioned he removed the substrate because the sick tort had worms. If you have 2 torts, you need to separate them to keep the healthy one well.

Moreover, please research ON THIS FORUM why it is unwise to keep torts in pairs. Your current situation is just one of many reasons why pairs are bad.
