Hello!
My four year old African Sulcata tortoise has not been eating a lot the last few days. We just got her a new enclosure yesterday. She was moving about fine, drinking water and munching a little. She often does these little squeals after eating. Today when we took her outside she didn’t move around at all. Now we Noticed she will not move her legs at all, her eyes are open and head tucked in the shell. Is she dead? Vet appointment on Wednesday.

The eyes look sunken in. not a good sign. if you pull on the legs is there any resistance?

What type of setup do you have for the tort? what are the temps in the enclosure? humidity levels? Can you post more pictures of the tort and enclosure.

Sorry to say this, but the tortoise appears to be deceased.

The noises you heard following the tortoise eating were most likely wheezing sounds from a respiratory infection or pneumonia.

The tortoise also appears very dehydrated. Were you soaking it daily? Is it possible it was left outdoors without enough shade and got baked in the sun?

Did you have the tortoise all four years of its life?

She has been making those noises for ages and has always been very active. She usually poops right after or during the squeaking. She had baths probably once a week. Honestly this is my bfs tortoise. I have only known her for a little while. She has been drinking A LOT of water recently, but she could be dehydrated. We usually take her outside for 20-45min a day with plenty of shade around.
I know. She does look dead. I’m incredibly heartbroken.

40 gal tank per the animal store we got her (private owned store), red bark, uv & the other type of lamp you need? I’m not sure of the humidity and I am not there currently to get pictures. The temps are between 80-86 degrees

The unfortunate truth is if your tortoise is still alive it won't be for much longer if you don't make significant changes to everything. Give the caresheet a good read
