So the reason his name is lucky is because his mom laid the eggs on a rainy day and all the eggs were crushed! But we hot glued his shell back together and he hatched! So that’s why he’s named lucky

Well, we really think we’re going to get it unstuck today! So yay! But he’s still not eating we’ve tried giving him everything
He's not going to eat until he can get rid of all the poop that's been backing up while his tail was stuck. Once you've freed the tail and cleaned off the cloaca, set him up in your bath tub in warm water and just leave him in there. You want him to get tired of being in there and start scrambling around trying to get out. The scrambling never fails to make them poop.

Of course, keep watching to make sure he's ok.

I've been assuming Lucky is a larger tortoise, that's why I said, "your bath tub." If he's still on the small side you can use a large plastic tub.

And yes he’s about 20-23 pounds

You can also try a squirt bottle filled with warm water, squirting water around the tail to gently dislodge any dried feces. And a lil water up the butt, might not be a bad thing, too

I’m so happy to inform his tail isn’t stuck anymore! But the infection got so bad that it swelled his tail and his cloaca up so he still can’t go to the bathroom! Any suggestions on how to treat a bad bacterial infection?

Any chance you can get some photos of the infected area? If its too bad you may need the help of a vet.

Vetericyn Plus puts out an antimicrobial wound spray. I don't know if microbes are the same as bacterium.

I don’t know, would you know where I could get it?

Thank you, we had syringe so it shouldn’t have gotten in his lungs. He absolutely refuses to eat so there wasn’t any other way
NO! Never in the mouth. He will aspirate the oil droplets into his lungs get pneumonia and die. They can't poop if they are not eating. You need food to poop. You are lucky you didn't kill him this time.

If it were me, I would try some cold water cloth or ice pack and try to get the swelling down quickly. Then use the antibiotic. Don't put him in cold water, just keep a cold pack on the area for some time and see if the swelling will lessen.
