I would love to get a third eye on this pictures to really try and determine whether it's a bladder stone or just a regular stone . @Tom would you help me out?
If its urates, he's passing them now, so everything should be fine. If its debris in the substrate, or rocks that have been eaten and passed, then you are still A-ok.

Oh so whether or not they were bladder stones, which i personally don't think they were it's no problem now since hes passing urates which means he can't have any other bladder stones and as long as hes passing urates i have no bladder stones to worry about?

Is it impossible for them to pass pass regular urates when they have a bladder stone? Also i know for a fact he does not have any bladder stones at the moment since i was at the vet and xrayed a week ago and he did not have any bladder stones which means the bladder stone must have been passed before that. He should not get any more bladder stones right? since he has good humidity 65-85 good humid hide 95+ gets soaked everyday for 30 minutes and i spray his food with water. So i they were urates/bladder stones they must have formed from the former conditions when he was kept to dry. So now with my current care as i said i know he does not have any bladder stones at the moment, and he should not get any more bladder stones right. if they even were bladder stones.

If this was confusing a sum up of my question is. I know he currently has no bladder stones. and with the care i have now he should not get any more right and i have nothing to worry about? That is if they even were bladder stones.

Great to hear. I really think it would be strange if he were to get any mor bladder stones with his current care. And as previously mention I know for a fact he does not have any right now :)

Also is it impossible for them to pass urates when they have a bladder stone? i am asking since he passed some urates yesterday. Also i think i am going to get the stones i found checked out at a vet, even though it does not really matter if they were bladder stones or not since he does not have any now and he not going to get any more "bladder stones", I am still curious just to know if they were bladders stones or just rocks.

Oh okay, but anyway glad to hear i have nothing to worry about, since he should not get any more bladder stones, if he ever even had them, with his current care right?

Please read post #13, that's 7 posts ago. I told you about my 17 yr old tortoise, I commented patiently, yet you evidently think I'm simply here entertain my damn self? In post #1 I spent some time to be detailed and looked thru 5000+ photos of mine to find photos for you, to help you understand. I don't mind at all that you went to Tom for a second opinion. Tom also answered all your questions.so now please give it up and try to enjoy your tortoise. If you want us to see your tortoise and habitat and stuff, make a thread about him with photos. 100_3361.JPG100_1465.JPG100_4076.JPG

I found another werid looking stone in the enclosure searching thru the substrate altough this one i am 99% sure is not a bladder stone since it looks almost like a crystal and when you put it up to light the light shines thru it.

My instinct says that you may have small rocks in the substrate and your tortoise is eating them. Folks observing tortoises tell there are many that will eat small rocks, pieces of bone, fossils and soil and are not positive why. Ideas are that they might be seeking nutrients missing in their food or they help with digestion and possibly some other things. If you want to avoid this keep them out of the substrate and please don't use sand.

So i found another small little stone in his water bowl surounded bye a sand like texture under it, but i don't think it's a bladder stone or urates since the stone i found looked quite like a crystal and when you put it up to light the light shines thru it and from what i know thats not the case with bladder stones or urates. I personally belive he might have eaten the stone i now found and pooped it out in the water bowl, or somehow dragged it in in the water bowl, what do you think? it's also so incredibly flat.

What do you use for substrate? Post photos
I use this pro terra bark, and i know that this substrate has a TON of rocks in it so he deffinatly has accses to small rocks.

You need to replace the substrate ASAP since he is eating the rocks. Fine Fire Bark - sold as orchid bark at home garden centers and as Reptibark for the reptile trade. Cypress mulch or coco choir.

Reptibark is good-it is commercially branded Fine Fir Bark. The stones you are finding are in fact gravel and not urate stones. It looks like pea gravel. Google says- What is pea gravel? These small, fluid stones found near bodies of water have an appealingly smooth texture, the result of natural weathering. Pea gravel comes in sizes from 1/8 inch to 3/8 inch, about the size of a pea, and in a range of natural colors like buff, rust brown, shades of gray, white, and translucent.

All the stones you have found look more consistent with pea gravel and NOT bladder stones. Go out side with safety glasses on and hit the stone with a hammer- it will shatter since it is way higher on the Mohs Mineral hardness scale than a bladder could ever be.
