Is that a possibility, Snoopy's Mom, taking him when no one's there on the weekend? Or how about late Friday afternoon after the teacher's left?
'Cause I seriously don't want that poor tort to endure much more abuse & neglect.

Im working up the courage to be brutally honest with the teacher, but trying to figure out a way to do it so things don’t get weird at work. There’s only about 35 employees and it’s always been the teachers vs the office. I don’t want to make matters worse. When giving the tort an evening snack the custodian walked by and said just take it home, you pay more attention to it than the teacher does and I started crying. It’s like the elephant the room, everyone sees it but nobody says anything.

Ok, on an island where EVERYTHING has to be brought in my red car?, really Yvonne? However, I could steal a car already there, oh crap...I see it...Chefdenoel 10 has a return ticket home, so ya'll do your jobs inside and I will be by the school in a stolen car, someone throws the tort to me, I hot rod it to the airport, and the Chefde puts said tortoise in her purse. Plane takes off, the Chefde returns home with a purse full of poop, and the rest of us get drunk and celebrate on the beach. So what do ya think? Genius!!!!!!!
Ok. I understand, I have 2 thoughts, (haha) the first one is to go to the teacher who owns the tortoise. No matter how hard it is, you take a deep breath and tell that teacher the truth and ask to keep the tort. #2 is you go to the custodian tell him the situation and ask him if he will go with you to the office and back you because he has seen the lack of care. Neither of those would be easy to do, but if you think about that little tortoise, it might make you stronger emotionally. And think about this...all they can do is say no...take a Sulcata care sheet with you...
