Hello guys, I am making my appearance once again on the forum to update on Io. She is doing wonderful after her surgery early this year. As I mentioned in my last post, she had a benign tumor removed from her oviduct that was causing her to prolapse. No more prolapses after having this issue for at least 3 years! She still is having some difficulties with her GI tract (she is prone to bacteria blooms) with her most recently being treated for one a month ago. She is having normal bowel movements now after a week of antibiotics. She's eating well too, I've been feeding her zoo med's canned box turtle food with small chunks of veggies, flower topper, and canned bugs mixed in every so often. She's slowing down lately so she been eating every few days or so now but is still actively foraging for nightcrawlers in her enclosure so nothing to worry about. She has been more actively basking after adjusting her heat lamp to be closer to the top of her log (about 7" away from her shell) and I'm about ready to switch her bulb out at the end of the month. She is living her best life!
